Pot de crème or syllabub (height: 10,3cm).
Qianlong period, circa 1790.

 
The round shaped base and the pointed cover, ressembling a small artichoke, copies similar pieces from the St Cloud manufacture in soft paste porcelain from the 1730/40s (click on this link to see a St Cloud model).The decoration is done with small blue and gilt flowers all over the surface.
