Chinese export porcelain.

 Pair of figures (length: 9,5cm).
Qianlong period, circa 1750.


A Chinese couple, a man and a woman, are lying on their side against some sort of pillow. The woman half undressed holds a leaf shaped fan, while the man, also half undressed, holds an opium pipe. Both figures are decorated in white with their coat painted in blue under the glaze.
