Barber's bowl decorated in Famille rose enamels (width: 31,2cm).
Yongzheng period, circa 1725.


The border is richly painted with large pink flowers amongst smaller white and pink flowers. In the centre, two men, most likely scholars, are resting on a carpet placed on the ground outdoors, while on the right hand side, a small servant brings wine, or another beverage, in a jar.


Provenance: Private collection, France.
Condition: small chip restored on the bottom right hand side.
